Antazoline 0.05% + Tetryzoline 0.04% eye prep
Indications
Antazoline 0.05% + Tetryzoline 0.04% eye prep is used for:
Conjunctivitis, Keratitis, Inflammatory eye conditions, Hay-fever
Adult Dose
Adult: Ophth: Apply 1-2 drops 2-3 times/day.
Ophth Conjunctival decongestant Instill 1-2 drops up to 4 times/day for 3-4 days unless directed.

Hypersensitivity.
Precautions
Do not use on infants, young child. Prolonged use can cause rebound congestion. Discontinue if ocular pain or visual changes occur. Pregnancy, lactation.

Adverse Effects
Side effects of Antazoline 0.05% + Tetryzoline 0.04% eye prep :
Hypersensitivity reactions. Skin sensitization. Headache, hypertension, tremors, weakness, sweating, rebound congestion with prolonged use. Nasal: transient burning, stinging, sneezing, dryness of mucosa. Eye: blurred vision, irritation, mydriasis.
Mechanism of Action
Antazoline is an ethylenediamine-derivative antihistamine.
Tetryzoline is a sympathomimetic with alpha-adrenergic activity with little or no effect on beta-adrenergic receptors.
