Indications
Betamethasone 0.05% + Miconazole 2% Topical is used for:
fungal infections of the skin such as
tinea pedis (athlete's foot),
tinea cruris (jock itch),
and tinea corporis (ringworm).
Adult Dose
The typical dose of Betamethasone 0.05% + Miconazole 2% topical is to apply a thin layer of the cream or ointment to the affected area of the skin once or twice daily,
It is also important to note that the medication should not be used for more than 2 weeks

Common side effects of Betamethasone 0.05% + Miconazole 2% topical include:
Skin irritation or redness at the application site
- Itching
- Burning
- Stinging
These side effects usually go away with continued use of the medication or after the medication is discontinued.
Less common but serious side effects include:
- Skin thinning or discoloration
- Stretch marks
- Acne
- Excessive hair growth
- Increased sweating
- Blurred vision
- Headache
