Calamine

Indications

Calamine is used for: Symptomatic treatment of pruritus. Not considered effective for the treatment of insect stings or bites

Adult Dose

Mild pruritus, apply liberally 3–4 times daily

Child Dose

Mild pruritus, apply liberally 3–4 times daily

Renal Dose

Dosage adjustment not required

Administration

For External use. Apply liberally to all the affected area. Shake bottle well before use

Contra Indications

Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on open wounds or burns

Pregnancy-Lactation

Topical use of Calamine lotion has not been reported to be associated with significant adverse effects when used during pregnancy and lactation Calamine lotion is compatible with breastfeeding.
