Sodium Cromoglycate 3% Nasal prep
Indications
Sodium Cromoglycate 3% Nasal prep is used for:
Allergic rhinitis, accompanied by, nasal congestion
Adult Dose
Nasal Prep
Adult: 1 drop to each nostril 2 to 3 times daily.
Child Dose
Nasal Prep
Child: 1 drop to each nostril 2 to 3 times daily.
Renal Dose

Contra Indications
This drop is contraindicated in patient with hypersensitivity to Sodium Cromoglicate .
Precautions
As this drop contains benzalkonium chloride, patients should not wear contact lenses during treatment with this drop.

Adverse Effects
Side effects of Sodium Cromoglycate 3% Nasal prep :
Intranasal use: Transient irritation of nasal mucosa. Sneezing and epistaxis (occasional).
Mechanism of Action
Sodium Cromoglycate inhibits degranulation of mast cells and therefore suppresses the release of histamine, leukotrienes and slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis.
